First week of Summer Break!!!

Going through the kids school papers.  I had to post these!

My Mom Amy. Mom is not fat. She is skinny.  She is beautiful and nice.  I don't know what the last line says...?  haha!!

Whitney wrote this about herself.  "I am beautiful".  I hope she ALWAYS knows this!!!!

All of Aiden's classmates' jaws dropped as he read this out loud to the entire class.   The best part - he didn't care!

Jeremy isn't a fan of breakfast in bed so we made a special Father's Day breakfast with presents at the table. 

Jeremy's favorite cookie (snickerdoodles) after his favorite dinner (roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, rolls, gouge).  He's spoiled but he deserves it!!  He's such a great Dad!

3rd grade end of the year party

Since we had to reschedule Aiden's party we didn't have a big turnout but that's how Aiden likes it anyway. Just a few of his best friends.  Fun day!

They made up a game called "wall ball" they were out here until their feet were bleeding playing this game!

Whitney got the award for most musical because she is always singing, humming, tapping, etc... while she is doing her work.  Her prize:  A giant Symphony bar!

End of the Year swim party for the 5th graders

The next day was supposed to be the End of the Year swim party for the 3rd graders but, instead, we woke up to a 100-year flood event...

You can't really tell but the doors are bowed in because the water on the outside is up to the light switches pushing against them.  We had to wait for the water to seep in from the sides and bottom and prayed the didn't burst!
