Back to School and Friends!!

Aiden and Whitney went back to school this week and enjoyed being reunited with friends!

Soldier's Theater

Right before COVID lockdowns, Soldier's Theater was rehearsing for their production of The Adam's Family.  Once restrictions were lifted they were able to pick up where they left off and, with some modifications due to COVID, they pulled off a great show!

This was the first musical that Jeremy was not a part of so it was kind of weird sitting in the audience with him! 

Skateboarding

Another new skill that Whitney taught herself during COVID lockdowns was how to skateboard!  I couldn't believe how good she was on her board!

Bike Rides

Jeremy and I have been enjoying exploring with our new bikes!

Every bike ride includes a treat halfway through!

We escaped the heat and went up into the mountains this weekend.

Summer Days

We enjoyed socially distancing at the water park this week! 

One of Whitney's COVID projects: She asked for a ukulele for her birthday and taught herself how to play it!  I was so surprised how many songs she knew!

Jeremy and I have been talking about getting road bikes for years!  This week we finally did it.

Aiden got a job!

Aiden got a job at our commissary, bagging groceries.  

I had no idea someone could make so much money just from tips!

Party

We had another party for Connor. Sort of a graduation party but also a going to college party.  

We were waiting for his gift to arrive - a new Mac Book for college!
