Smell my armpits!

Connor is so proud! He officially has B.O. lol! He is so excited every morning to put his deodorant on after his shower. He's telling everyone to smell his armpits now.

As if Aiden didn't already have the birthday of his life already.....
We had to do something to celebrate his birthday on his actual birthday!

He had a stack of muffins with candles to blow out for breakfast. Then took cupcakes to school for another party. He requested KFC for dinner (I don't know why because he didn't eat anything!) Then we came home for more presents from his 2 favorite Aunts: Tara and Cami.

And then came.... THE BOX!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Cates sent Aiden this HUGE box! I think Aiden thought that the box was the gift at first since it was so much fun! Whitney liked it better from afar.

After all that excitement this is what was in the box:

Brad and Sheri bought this for Aiden for Christmas 2006. It has been at their house for Aiden to play with when we would visit. I guess they realized we won't be visiting quite so much now that we are in KC and wanted Aiden to have it for his birthday. Aiden loved it! Each animal brought back a special memory of playing at his Grandparents. Thanks guys! We miss you!!!

Go Chiefs!

Our good friends Dan & Courtney invited us to go to a Chiefs game.

They got 4 awesome tickets - 3rd row at the 20 yard line!
We had so much fun!

Here we are at our tailgate party! lol! It was so hot and we were loving this trailer for shade. The view was awesome too!

Look at this guy... hating it! Trying to grill something on that little grill in the hot sun.

Here you can see Larry Johnson making the last touchdown of the game to beat the Bronco's!

And, of course... Jeremy's favorite part

Aiden's Party

Aiden's birthday party was a success! We went to Deanna Rose Farmstead. I have so many pics that I'm just going to post them all. Here are a few highlights of the party:
  • Barnyard Bingo and other animal games, tons of prizes, pony rides (sorry... "HORSE" rides. Aiden doesn't like the word pony because it sounds girly and baby), fishing, bottle-feeding goats, pinata, farm food (pigs in a blanket, garden veggies, chex mix, candy corn), birthday cake and presents.

There were 19 kids total! Whitney had a blast sneaking into everyone's food. Connor loved being the biggest kid there. And Aiden... well, when he said "This is the best day ever!", that said it all!
