Kayla
Without any warning, Kayla is gone.

I woke up early and sat outside while it was still dark.  I was surprised to see Kayla just standing in the middle of the lawn.  Not moving, just standing.  Normally she is curled up in a ball somewhere sleeping when I get up.  I noticed her a few more times that day, just standing.  I mentioned it to Jeremy and he was keeping an eye of her while I was gone doing Saturday chores.

Jeremy noticed her just standing too and then he saw her laying down and not moving.  He went closer to her and noticed she was covered in flys and would not get up.  He carried her into the garage to get all the flys off of her and then took her to an animal hospital.

They gave her some IV fluids and sugar water which seemed to have given her a burst of energy.  She was acting normal again and Jeremy called me to say he was bringing her home after her labs came back.  An hour or so later he texted me to say she wasn't going to make it and they were putting her to sleep.  It was all so surreal!  Had we known it was that bad, the kids and I would have gone up there to say goodbye!

The last picture we have of her.

We will miss you Kayla........

 Money!

Aiden is enjoying working and especially making money!  The ladies at the bank know who he is now and always ask about his new job when he's in there depositing his earnings.

He's also enjoying spending his money too!!

Whitney had fun hanging out with friends this weekend

Saying Goodbye to Connor

It was finally time for Connor to go to the US to start school at BYU-Idaho.

He had to be at the airport by 3:30am!  It was a sleepy goodbye.

Whitney didn't waste any time claiming his bathroom!  We spent the weekend transforming it for her.

Jeremy and Connor had a long journey ahead of them.
Venice -> Paris -> Atlanta -> Salt Lake City -> Rexburg

Luckily they got to spend a few days with Brian and Abby to recover from Jet lag!
And Connor was loving hanging out with his cousins!

They were able to hit up Walmart while they were there for all of the essentials

Ready to move in!

His new home for the next year

Chiefs game at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Connor's dream come true!

Jeremy got to spend some time with friends and family before coming back to Italy

 Tuscany

I had to go to Tuscany (4 hours away) for work during Connor's last week here so I took him with me!

Our hotel was right on the beach!

Our only goal for the week was to get a good Florentine Steak!

I was so happy to get a few days alone with my baby boy!
