Garmisch, Germany

One of our favorite places in the world!  We have come here just about every year since the kids were little.  So many great memories here.  We had to squeeze in one more trip before Connor left the nest.

Where our kids learned to ski
Same locker room 10 years ago!

Poor Jeremy.... threw his back out on the first run. He still hung in there and made it threw the day.

Not happy about the crowded gondola!

Bavarian lunch at one of the highest peaks

My phone shadow messed up the picture but this hungarian goulash was sooooooo goood!!!

Garmisch has awesome skiing but so many other great things to do as well!

We were completely weirded out by their Fasching (aka: Carnivale or Mardi Gras) parade downtown (as we expected we would be!)

They grabbed this lady from the audience and carried her to the top, stuffed her into a shoot and then shot saw dust all over everyone in the street.

spraying stuff in peoples mouths.  Another guy had a liquid-filled syringe that he was squirting into people mouths.

Scared lol!
We've done this tour of the Griesbrau brewery/restaurant at least 5 times! Wolfgang hasn't changed at all!

The food is still delicious!!!

We also had to hit up our favorite Chinese buffet while we were there!

Valentines Day

Jeremy made sure I felt his love on Valentines Day!

Surprise treats and a card in my office

And dinner for 2 at a new restaurant!
After dinner we went to the middle school dance to pick Whitney up.
Yes, we were those annoying parents who just walked right in to the dance to take a picture of our little baby!!

Luckily, Whitney is such a sweetheart that she didn't mind!
We ended the weekend with homemade sweets for our sweets!!

Honor Roll

So proud of my boys for making honor roll again last quarter!

Aiden got 4.0 again!

They do 10th and 12th grade honor rolls on 2 different days.
I COMPLETELY FORGOT CONNOR'S!!!!!
(I felt like the worst Mom ever.)
Luckily Connor is very understanding!

Masquerade Ball

Whitney's friend hurt her leg playing soccer but they went to the middle school dance anyway.
They dressed as opposites on purpose.

Youth Ski Trip

Early morning ski trip again for these girls

New Office

..... again.  I just keep moving around.
This time should be more permanent though so I could finally hang some things on the wall that Jeremy had framed for me.

Superbowl 54

The downfalls of living overseas is not being able to be in your hometown when your team is in the Superbowl!  If you remember, we moved here right after the Royals made it to the World Series and missed all of that. Now, the unbelievable (and more important) has happened and the Chiefs made it to the Superbowl.  Jeremy and the boys were dying to be in Kansas City.... especially Jeremy who almost bought plane tickets to go back.  But..... we stayed here and watched the game that didn't get over until 4am (on a school night).

The only way to watch the Chiefs during the season is with the NFL Game Pass which Jeremy buys every year.  This time though something happened and the last 2 1/2 minutes of the game it didn't work.  So....  the boys,  and 3 of their friends who stayed over to watch the game, missed the winning touch down in the last 2 minutes.  Needless to say, that was very disappointing.  However, they were able to overcome their disappointment with a Chiefs WIN!!!
