Vicenza vs. Rota
L: 19-6
This week the game was in Rota, Spain. Luckily the boys didn't have to make that drive and could fly instead
(even though it was VERY early in the morning!)
| We were on their same flight! |
| We separated ways at the airport in Seville. Everyone was still very tired! |
| Good luck boys!! |
While the boys took a bus down to Rota, Jeremy and I stayed in Sevilla.
We have been to this part of Spain before but never to Sevilla. We always heard it was the sister city to Kansas City.
First thing we saw was Kansas City Avenue! |
| First order of business for us was breakfast!! |
| Then checking into our hotel. Jeremy scored a sweet place for us to stay for the weekend! |
| The boys stayed on the Navy base in Rota. We went to see them Saturday morning before the game. Everyone was in good spirits! |

Another rough game. Our boys played hard and it was a close game until the end.
They had half as many players and were just losing steam. They never gave up though and left everything on the field! |
In the meantime..... Whitney was having a blast back in Italy!
She stayed with one of her best friends and got to go to the annual pumpkin fest which I was so sad to miss. |
Jeremy and I stayed in Seville one more day and had a blast!
Bird is very popular in Seville so it was very easy and convenient to grab one of these e-scooters to get us all over the city! |
| Jeremy was a great driver while I just enjoyed the view from the back |
| Lots of Flaminco dancers |
| There was clearly A LOT of money in Seville during the time these amazing fortresses were built! |
| THE FOOD!!!! Totally the best part and served my favorite way: Tapas. That way you can try many, many, many dishes without getting too full. We pretty much ate every hour all day/night. |
| We did the touristy thing and rode the Hop-On Hop-Off. We didn't have to think about anything! |
| I'm so grateful for Jeremy. He spends hours of his time planning, budgeting, executing these trips and then has to force me to go along, kicking and screaming, but it always turns out to be amazing and wonderful adventures and memories. I'm glad he puts up with me and keeps taking us all over the world! I love you, Jeremy. |
