Belinder Fall Festival 2008

I had to work at the Cake Walk so that is where the boys wanted to go too. On their first try Connor won and got to pick out a cake.

Aiden did the Cake Walk all night long until it was over trying to win, but never did. :( It was so sad. He would carefully pick his starting position and then when the music stopped, no matter what number he stopped on he would be on the verge of tears before they even called a number just because he didn't think he was going to win. Usually the kid next to him would win. After they called the winning number he would look pathetic and, with tears in his eyes, go get in the back of the line to try again.

This little cutie, Kaden, was so sweet. He's Connor's friend at school but he felt bad for Aiden and told Aiden he was going to do the Cake Walk until he won a cake for Aiden. He never won either but it made Aiden feel good that he had a friend losing with him.

What did Whitney do all night??? She just wanted to run all over the place and hide from Daddy who was stressing out all night trying to keep up with her. lol!

Aiden's pride and joy

Every day Aiden wants to take a bath so he can wash his "car collection" and then line all his cars up on the bathtub. He actually scrubs each one with a toothbrush and soap and then is so proud of his work when he's done. lol!

National Walk to School Day

Here we are, with our hot chocolate in hand walking to school. However, Jeremy picked us up after dropping Connor off at school so we didn't have to walk back. I know.... we cheated. It was fun though seeing all the kids and parents out walking to school. We live in a great community.

I have a good excuse!

OK... I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. Some of you were even nice enough to email me privately to let me know (thanks!).
I DO have a good excuse though...
Our computer was getting so slow. It was taking me hours to do a simple post. So, Jeremy went out and bought a new computer. The only thing though is that it's a Mac and I have never even used one before! So, it's taken me a while to figure things out. But.... I think I'm getting the basics right now. I don't know if I'll ever master it!

Block Party!

We had our block party this weekend. We feel so fortunate to live in such a great neighborhood. Everyone is so nice and it's great to have so many kids the same age here. The boys thought it was really cool to be in the middle of the street late at night. It was a good time.

Connor is so proud! He officially has B.O. lol! He is so excited every morning to put his deodorant on after his shower. He's telling everyone to smell his armpits now.
