Week 37

We celebrated the 4th of July on July 2nd.  They opened the gates to invite the Italians on base for the party.  Needless to say... it was packed!! (and HOT!)

Never too old for bumper cars!!

Where the cool kids hang out!

It's hard to tell but the moon was awesome!!

Chris Allen, American Idol winner, was the pre-fireworks show

Our group started off small - Anna and her friend came to celebrate with us!!

Then, somehow... our group got big!!

It was an amazing show!  Every time I've watched fireworks on a military base it is always more dramatic and emotional for me.  This one was probably the best yet!

Gardaland!!
We finally made it to Gardaland!
How did this happen???  My baby is officially taller than the sign!

I was with Whitney most of the day while the boys went on the scary rides with Daddy

Whitney was the only one short enough to play here!  We were all jealous!!

The boys found a way to cool down too.  At least before security came and kicked everyone out.

On our way to our hotel!

Stopped to have lunch on the side of the road

With a beautiful view!
We finally arrived to our hotel in Limone!!

Lucky for us the pool was still open!!!

The lake at night with all the little towns lit up

The breakfast buffet was awesome!!

Ready for swimming!

Jeremy is down there somewhere!  The hotel had 3 different outdoor pool areas.  The kids didn't want to leave the hotel all day!

iced hot chocolate pool side!

Teenagers!

I'm  not sure how this picture got in here!

Sooo pretty!!

I'm pretty sure this is why the town is called Limone.  There were lemon trees everywhere!

All dressed up and ready for the dinner buffet

Jeremy and I got to sneek away for a quick date while the kids swam and enjoyed the dinner buffet at the hotel.  We went down and explored the charming town.

As soon as our food came there was a huge rain storm for us to enjoy under our canopy.  The timing couldn't have been better!

After the rain storm the sun was shining right on the little town across the lake from us.  It looked so cool!

You have to look close to see the double rainbow!!!

The next day we took the ferry to another town on the lake

Limone from a distance

A castle on the water

We reached the town of Lasize and got ready for some fun on the water

Lol... one size its all!!

The was the coolest dog I've ever seen.  He loved going out in the boat!

Riding on the banana

Aiden fell in.  This little dog lets the driver know when someone falls in.

Then we ALL fell in!!

Whitney had enough

She was happy sitting up on the boat with Karolina

Taking us back to shore

Karolina and Whitney went back to the beach while the boys got to do some tubing!

Oh man... here we go!

The dog was always keeping an eye on them!

When it was time to get off the tube the dog jumped in the water and went to the boys

He rode the tube back to the shore and then nudged each kid until he got off the tube.  It was hilarious!

Daddy's turn!

This one took a while to learn how to do

Crashed right in front of an audience

He's got it!!

Finally it was time to go meet back up with Karolina and Whitney for lunch on the beach!  Such a fun day and a fun trip!!
