Week 3 in the USA

Another MUST to cross off our list:  Dunkin Donuts!!

We all enjoyed the cat and dog that lived at the house where we stayed.  They were seriously so good and cute!

Finally!!!  The Buxton's just returned from Florida and immediately met up with us!!

Brylan's family treated Aiden to Urban Air

Aiden was pretty much spoiled all week!!

I got to have lunch with my good friend and former co-worker.  Someone asked us if we were sisters!  lol!
Dinner at the Expy's

They rented a bouncy house for the kids and they loved it!!

Of course the teenagers were much too mature for that silliness!

Water balloon fights

Whitney's other "sisters".  Love these girls!!

Aiden went with Brylan to the middle school to find his locker, etc...
A group of girls recognized Aiden and Brylan's Mom got this great shot!

Aiden was loving it!!

On our way home from the Plaza we drove through Prairie Village to see our first home we bought there in 2008

Our first Christmas in our new home in 2008

Our last day in KC was so fun!  We spent the day at one of the public pools with all of our best friends!
Warning:  LOTS of pics!!

Saying final good byes back at our house

Since Brylan and Aiden both have birthdays during the next couple of months, Brylan's Mom brought over a cake so they could celebrate while they were together.

Love her!!
6am flight for the kids and I to Idaho to see my family.
Jeremy had to stay behind because he had to be in D.C. for work Monday morning. :(
These two met us at the airport!!

Yep... we are in Idaho! lol!

Finally home!!

That awkward phase when you're just starting to get reacquainted! lol!

It took me a while to get into the pool after Matthew showed me his collection of water spiders he caught that day!

We discovered Aiden and Katie has matching birthmarks!!

Nothing is better than cousins!!

It took a while to get them to talk to me but before I knew it all 3 were talking at once.  So fun!!

Cami and Whitney are having a water fight

One more birthday celebration

Early morning walk downtown Priest River

One of my first jobs

The house we lived in when I was at home

Watching the hummingbirds

I told these kids that I saw a snake on my walk that morning and they immediately put their shoes on and begged me to show them!

I was surprised how much Whitney loved this trampoline! (UGH!!)

Trail running - Connor was trying to get in shape for the upcoming football camp in Germany

where the paths forked.  I took the wrong one and got separated from the kids and lost!  Luckily they found me later.

Grandpa smoking some ribs

Water balloon fights

Italian Sodas - everyone was surprised that we have never seen Italian Sodas in Italy

My Dad's old crutches
Everyone is watching to see how many ribs Connor is going to take! lol!

Making homemade strawberry ice cream

Connor is officially taller than Grandpa

Sisters!

Doing chores together! haha!

Went fishing at the Dam

We had fun but no one even got a nibble! :(
Sleep over on the trampoline!  (We couldn't talk Connor into doing it!)

They survived the night but said the coyotes kept them up all night!

My Dad's man cave!

My Dad bought these dresses for Cami and I to wear to church

Making enchiladas for the potluck

Holley family potluck

We also got to celebrate my Aunt Deanna's birthday!

After the potluck we tried fishing again at a different spot

This time EVERYONE caught a fish (Whitney caught 4!!)

Midnight swimming!  Thank goodness there are no neighbors... only coyotes!

Finally convinced Connor how fun sleeping on the trampoline was!
