Veterans Day 2018
We stayed in Vicenza this year for Veteran's Day weekend.
It was really nice to have a long weekend that we didn't have anything to do for a change.
| We went to the mall to do some shopping and eat at our favorite sushi place |
And then went to the football banquet that evening
| Another great season in the books! |
Fall Sports Awards Assembly
This week they held the awards assembly for all Fall sports.
| Connor received a certificate for finishing the season with a 3.0-3.49 GPA |
| Aiden got a certificate for finishing with a 3.5-3.99 GPA |
We are very proud of both of these boys for keeping their grades up despite 2+ hour practices every day after school, games every weekend (sometimes very far away so they were gone all weekend), AND going to early morning seminary before school every day!
The teams split up for one last team meeting

| Tennis Coach saying his last words to the team |
| They all begged Aiden to do Tennis next year. He is insisting that he will play football instead.... we'll see. |

Stake Activity
This weekend I helped drive close to 30 youth from our ward to the stake activity in Venice.
| 77 kids in all! 2 microphones so they could say everything in Italian and English. |
| The kids learned self defense |
| The typical unorganized crazy feeding frenzy at all stake activities! |
| These kids were starving by the time the pizza finally arrived! |
| Such a fun, sweet group of kids!! |
After church on Sunday we had a Linger Longer with the Italians.
| I had to include this picture because Aiden finally got this little girl to like him! In fact, she now refers to him as her "Best Friend". It wasn't easy but he finally won her over!! |
| It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon! I was able to convince everyone to go on a walk in our little town. |
| Of course, the boys had to bring a football "in case it got boring" |
| Kayla was in heaven! |
| I'm not ready for winter.... I wish it could be Fall year-round! |
