Connor's 17 years old!???!!!

It's a good thing that Connor is so easy going....  because nothing was working out for his birthday this year.  Everyone had been very sick all week leading up to his birthday so making plans was not at the front of anyone's minds.  When his birthday arrived we decided to go to the Brazilian Restaurant we went to a couple of years ago to celebrate only to find out that they were full and we did not have reservations.  We called and drove all over trying to find another place that was open for New Year's Eve and was not full but by this time every Italian in Italy had filled up every restaurant.  So.... after driving around hungry and frustrated for 2 hours - we ended up getting Connor's favorite pizza from a place 2 minutes from our house and going back home.

Connor has always been such a sweet, easy going, funny kid. 
Being his mom has been one of the greatest pleasures of my life!

New Year's Eve 2018

After celebrating Connor's birthday we started the countdown to midnight.

We did not get fireworks this year but our neighbors took care of us!

New Year's Day 2019

We celebrated the first day of the year by De-Christmas-ing the house!

Everyone was sad to put everything away.  Our house definitely seemed less cheery and empty!

Here we go.....  The adult musical auditions were this week.  

I'm really glad that Jeremy has found something here in Italy that he enjoys and he's really good at!

Birthday Dinner Part 2

Since we struck out on Connor's Birthday at the Churrascaria, we decided to try it again!

This is actually a new one that recently opened and is a lot closer to our house

SOOOOO good!!!!

The buffet was great too!  We were not disappointed!
