Holiday Show

Last year at this time we were still living in the hotel in Italy.  We heard about this Holiday Show on the base so we decided to go to help us get into the holiday spirit since everything was so weird and different.

The minute the show started, Whitney squeezed Jeremy's arm and whispered "why didn't you sign me up for this!?!?"  She loved it!!

So.... fast forward a year and now it's her turn to shine!!!

Whitney wanted to do this show so bad but Jeremy and I were worried about her doing it by herself, without one of us being there to help.  So, Jeremy also auditioned and they both got parts.  

Now... this is not a decision made lightly!  Being in these shows is a huge commitment, A LOT of work and extremely time consuming!  They practice every night for 3 hours and have to memorize 51 songs in addition to all the dance moves on stage!  

Jeremy really didn't want to do the Holiday Show since he JUST got done being in the Perpetual Laughter plays.  He was looking forward to a break!  But.... he wanted to do this for Whitney.  

I must say, I am really proud of Whitney for her dedication to memorize her parts and stick with this.  But, I'm even more proud of Jeremy for his love, commitment, and complete dedication and devotion to our children.  Whether it's organizing scout camps for the boys or performing on stage just so his daughter can perform - he gives his time and energy willingly and they benefit greatly!  

He is a wonderful Father and our kids are so blessed to call him Daddy!!!
