Thanksgiving 2015

This week was Thanksgiving.  All holidays seem weird when you're in another Country but Thanksgiving and the 4th of July are probably the weirdest since they are just normal days for everyone except for the Americans.  But.... we were able to get into the spirit of the holiday this year just the same!

Jeremy and the boys kicked butt in a Turkey Bowl with some guys from church

Whitney's day started off with sleeping in, cuddling on the couch, and taking it easy!

Even the turkey enjoyed some nice, quiet time before things really started to heat up!

Connor loves to help me in the kitchen... especially on Thanksgiving!

After football Daddy spent some time working on the leaves  outside and Whitney "helped" lol!!

I got beautiful Thank You's from my babies!!   This one brought tears to my eyes!!

Finally... it's time to eat!!

It wouldn't feel like a holiday without several close friends to share it with!

Pie is served.... but everyone is still too full!!
Black Friday

Our "Black Friday" consisted of getting the Christmas decorations out and putting up the Christmas Tree!! :)
Verona Christmas Market

After staying in all day on Friday we thought we should probably get out on Saturday.  So, we took the train to Verona to visit their Christmas Market.

This market comes to Italy from Nuremberg, Germany so we got to enjoy some German Brats, Brotchen, and Senf!!
Whitney's enjoying it so much she couldn't even stop to smile for the picture! lol!

Whitney wanted a picture with Micky but it was only after the boys pointed it out that I realized there was a half naked woman behind her!  Talk about a photo bomb! hahah!!

Whitney's adorable face after thoroughly enjoying an Italian hot chocolate!!  lol!!

Waiting at the train station to go home and feeling so grateful for so much!!
