Pizza Party

Aiden's basketball team had their end of the season basketball pizza party this week

Getting his medal.  Coach was commenting on how Aiden is a whole new basketball player this year!
A totally different kid on the court from last year!!

All of the kids on the team voted for the MVP of the team and they voted for Aiden!!!!
This was such an honor and one of Aiden's proudest moments!

IMCOM Basketball Championship Tournament 2016

Connor's team got picked to play in the Championship Tournament for all of Europe.  The games were played in Hohenfels, Germany (about 10 hour bus ride away) so we went on a road trip!!!

The kids and  I actually rode on the bus the with kids!!! :)
Jeremy couldn't come because it was opening weekend for Guys and Dolls.

We stopped at a really nice McDonalds somewhere in Austria.
It had a beautiful view of the Alps and beautiful waitresses!

First night we found a pizzeria in the town where we stayed.

We forced the kids to communicate without their phones! lol!

First things first!  Pledge of Allegiance.

I hardly took any pictures of the kids actually playing .... it was too intense watching them to take pictures!

We are awesome!

We played 3 games on Day 1.  This was the score after our 3rd game.  We were actually down by 15 at half time and then caught up right at the end.  With 1 second left we were still down by 1 point and then we made a basket at the last SECOND!

All the proud parents who couldn't come with us over the weekend. 

Such a great team and great coaches!!  

I'm so proud of Connor.  This was his first year playing basketball and he gave it his all!!!
