Student Council
Whitney ran for Student Council for her class this week and made it!!!
Turning 13!!
Aiden wanted to go paintballing for his 13th bday. We showed up a little early thinking it would give the boys time to get suited up, etc... but I forgot it was still during riposo (12:00-3:00 everything shuts down for "naptime") so we were forced to do presents and cake in the adjoining farm fields next to the paintball course while we waited for it to re-open.
Ahhh.... the joys of living in Italy!!

| Singing the most awkward version of Happy Birthday |
| Realizing it was more than just an umbrella! |
| Making it rain!! |
| Finally!!! |
| All ready! |
| Daddy finally got there! He came straight from the airport after being in Hanover, Germany all week. |
| Everyone was out except Jeremy and Aiden |
| It was hilarious to watch the ultimate showdown |
| We finally had to call it a tie. They were equally matched! |
| Showing off all of their wounds |
| Such a good sport! |
Homecoming 2016
We played against Hohenfels, Germany for our homecoming game.
| Programs with all the player info |
| Cougar mascot! |
| Right next to the football field, Aiden and his friends were playing their own football game all night long! |
| Very impressive National Anthem! |
| One of the player's grandparents was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last week so the cheerleaders made a large banner and presented the family with flowers. So sweet! |
| It was very touching! |
| Then all the players crashed through the banner and destroyed it! |
| Goosebumps! |
| Here we go! |
| There's Jeremy... in the middle of all of the action! He's officially the chain gang guy now! :) |
| Half time score 12-3 Vicenza is winning but it's been a pretty closely matched game |
| Final score 32-3 Vicenza won!!! |
| Victory speech! |
| Post game dinner for both teams! |
Anna came to visit us on Saturday and then we got another surprise. One of our good friend's son was rushed to the ER with appendicitis Saturday morning. We got to "adopt" her other 3 boys for the weekend so she could stay at the hospital with him. Their father is currently deployed.
| Lunch at the food court and then on to watch Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children |
| These guys uncovered an amazing discovery! Growing out of our compost pile was a huge, green pumpkin! Apparently this has been growing ever since last October when we threw our old jack-o-lantern's away in the compost! |
