Kayla

I decided to dedicate this post to Kayla. Our loyal and loving canine!

I am constantly accused of not loving Kayla but secretly...  I really do.  Not only is she a really, really good dog but she really makes our family complete.  My favorite thing about Kayla is how much the kids love her and the role she plays in their lives.  She is a very important part of our family and has been with us through thick and thin!  She was with us when we brought Whitney home from the hospital, she moved with us half way across the US and then to Germany where we had no lawn and she had to learn to go to the bathroom on a schedule on a very small patch of grass 2 blocks away, then to a house in Kansas without a lawn at all and she had to learn to go on concrete or in the rocks, to Italy where she has almost an entire acre to explore every day.  She loves us all unconditionally and she means something very special and different to each one of us.

She likes to lay on Aiden like a little baby while he's watching TV

My loyal companion always in the kitchen when I'm cooking.  Even Whitney couldn't tempt her to take her eyes off me for a second in case some little morsel of food dropped onto the floor.

Busted!!
Her favorite place in the world... Connor's bed!  He always forgets to shut his door so he comes home to wet doggy footprints in his bed.  I think he secretly likes it! lol!

My favorite part about Kayla is her LOVE for vegetables!!  Her favorite is frozen broccoli, raw zucchini, and here she's begging for Aiden's green beans!!!
Her favorite part of the day is when the kids come home from school!

Braces Continued....

Aiden got his bottom braces put on this week.  He's finally feeling the pains of braces. (but he still looks cute!!)
VHS Cheerleaders

Whitney missed almost 2 weeks of cheering during her back to back sicknesses!  She was back in action this weekend at the basketball games!

Whitney's face is covered up by another girl's pom-poms!  She is the first from the left on the back row.

She's in there somewhere!

Celtics Basketball

Aiden's basketball team had an away game this weekend in Livorno, Italy.  Jeremy and Aiden went down Friday night and spent the night before the game.  They won 38-3!!

Jeremy crammed the entire team in our van to go get a celebratory lunch after the game!  This would be so illegal in the US!!
We finished off the weekend babysitting my friends daughter and her dog.  We had a hair salon night before bed and they wanted me to take pics of their cute hairstyles! :)
